Kick-Starting your Child's Life in a Caring Environment

Coeur d'Alene Learning Center Infant

Infant

Our infant program provides the highest-quality care in an environment that is designed for our newest little ones. While in our care, infants are stimulated through reading, music, exercise, outdoor time, facial and verbal mimicking as well as lots of hugs and tickles. We offer a “least restrictive environment”, having no swings. This allows our teachers work with our infants to help them become as strong and mobile as possible as they are developing. Each family is sent home with a daily report of information from feedings, diapering, naps and important reminders. We are a breast milk friendly center.

Toddler

At this age, children are meeting new challenges as fast as they arrive. Crawling, walking and eventually running are levels children accomplish in what seems like a blink of an eye. Children learn best if they are in a stimulating environment. Music, stories, outdoor play, and learning simplicities envelop much of the day. Our caregivers are dedicated in helping each child develop these skills through a trusting and loving relationship. A daily report is given to update every family on meal and nap times, toilet training and activities accomplished each day.

Pre-School

A good preschool can make a difference in a child’s future school years. We offer different programs for children to help them learn in an environment that is inviting and fun. Some interest areas our preschoolers explore are music, science, math, language arts, fine motor and dramatic play. We help promote our Preschoolers physical, verbal, cognitive and emotional skills as they learn and grow together. We believe that children’s work is play, and that as they play with their peers and teachers they make connections in the world around them.
