Yes! Coeur d’Alene Learning Center is happy to be a locally owned and operated small business actively involved with the community.
Is CDA Learning Center Licensed?
Yes! We’re licensed through the City of CDA. We annually receive random inspections from our state health inspector, as well as our local fire department. All staff are required to pass a background check, have a current First Aid/CPR certification, provide a negative TB test, and complete both a safe sleep course and 12 hours of continued education training each year.
Are immunizations required?
Yes, the State of Idaho requires that immunizations are kept up to date. Unless your family is exempted, in which case we require a completed exemption form to be turned in.
What days are you closed?
Coeur d’Alene Learning Center is open Monday – Friday from 6am to 6pm. We are closed on New Year’s Eve, New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day and the day after (Family Day), plus Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.
How long will it take my child to adjust to your center?
Starting over at a new childcare facility isn’t always easy! A child’s first day can be filled with anxiety over the unknown – and a few tears, too. We focus on making the acclimation process as welcoming and worry free as possible for both parents and little ones alike. Our staff is always available for any questions or concerns you may have.
Do you serve meals?
We provide breakfast and am/pm snacks. Parents/guardians are responsible to provide a cold lunch from home each day.
