  • Yes! Coeur d’Alene Learning Center is happy to be a locally owned and operated small business actively involved with the community.

  • Yes! We’re licensed through the City of CDA. We annually receive random inspections from our state health inspector, as well as our local fire department. All staff are required to pass a background check, have a current First Aid/CPR certification, provide a negative TB test, and complete both a safe sleep course and 12 hours of continued education training each year.

  • Yes, the State of Idaho requires that immunizations are kept up to date. Unless your family is exempted, in which case we require a completed exemption form to be turned in.

  • Coeur d’Alene Learning Center is open Monday – Friday from 6am to 6pm. We are closed on New Year’s Eve, New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day and the day after (Family Day), plus Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.

  • Starting over at a new childcare facility isn’t always easy! A child’s first day can be filled with anxiety over the unknown – and a few tears, too. We focus on making the acclimation process as welcoming and worry free as possible for both parents and little ones alike. Our staff is always available for any questions or concerns you may have.

  • We provide breakfast and am/pm snacks. Parents/guardians are responsible to provide a cold lunch from home each day.

  • Yes, if your monthly childcare payment is $65 or more. This allows our staff more time to focus on what’s important ~ your child’s care.

  • Yes, a family registration fee of $100.00 is due at time of enrollment. This is NOT per child, like other facilities.
  • There is NO additional fee. We offer tuition based on a 12 hour day and do not charge additional fees unless your child is there beyond our hours of operation.
  • Our qualified and experienced teachers work one-on-one with your infant to meet their individual needs and schedule. We keep records of what they do during the day as far as eating, drinking, napping, and diaper changes, and we give you an individualized report at the end of each day.
    As every baby is different, regular and open communication between parents and teachers is exceedingly important. CDA Learning Center will work diligently with you to make sure that we are doing everything possible to support you and your baby. We support breastfeeding mother and will not feed your baby any foods that you have not introduced first.
  • Yes! All age groups starting from infancy through Pre-K have a creative curriculum we follow. We focus on each individual child’s developmental, emotional, and social skills.
